It is now legal for terminally ill people to end their lives in Tasmania but people wanting to access the service cannot find GPs who are trained.

He said the number of practitioners completing the training would increase in time and that would happen as more patients approach their doctors about the process.

"Initially there was a trickle but even after six months there was a 30 per cent increase in the number of GPs doing the training," Dr Jackson said. A spokesperson for the health department said the End-of-life-Choices Act 2021 is operating as intended, with the specific training for medical practitioners released in late September, about a month before the laws came into effect.

Inside the 'black economy' where Australians' stolen data is selling for $1ABC Investigation uncovers large swathes of confidential material widely available on the open internet, ranging from sensitive contracts to privileged legal advice about a student's death. No shit!! And they want everything to go digital, absolutely crazy. Not to mention all the control these elites want. Thank goodness Google is publishing these crimes or we wouldn't know what organisations have lousy data protection. Why are you suggesting they are complicit in the crime? Instead of just repeatedly reporting that our mygov details have been stolen and are being sold in the 'black economy', it would nice if the ABC could tell us something about the theft - when it happened, etc. We've had no notification from myGovau about any data breaches.
