Panthers player Tyrone May was stood down as a result of his involvement in the filming and circulation of tapesGould was speaking a week afterafter he was charged with filming and circulating videos of sex acts with two women without their consent. Police alleged Mr May, 22, filmed a sexual act with a woman at Coffs Harbour in February last year as well as with another woman at Kingswood in western Sydney in May."It's grade-five stupidity and naivety, and it's damaging," Gould told Channel Nine podcast Six Tackles with Gus.
But Gould said the revelations about the sex tapes would mean the NRL would be better placed to be more vigilant about monitoring player behaviour in the future.
