While I was in lockdown, I wasn't that bothered to seriously up my hygiene practices since I wasn't going anywhere. When I returned to my CBD office part-time in July, I was nearly always the only one wearing a face mask on the bus .
I tend to be more slack at home compared to early on. Being in Melbourne and being in stage 4 lockdown has meant a lot less [time] in public. —My kids just about cry every time they have to use hand sanitiser at the supermarket. Their hands are dry and little cuts sting.
I live in a regional area in NSW where there's been very little cases of the virus. I don't believe my community ever really took social distancing seriously — purely because there wasn't as much exposure of how bad the situation could get. I don't think the message ever really sunk in where I live. —My town, Gladstone, has only had one confirmed case and that was back in April. The person lived out of town, isolated straight away and didn't require hospitalisation.
Just remember people you are BAD . You are naughty. You are conspiracy theorists. You are not allowed to question. You must look at everyone you know as potential threats to your health. You must be scared. You must FEAR.
