Sky News contributor Liz Storer says says it is utterly ridiculous that in Australia “we’re still acting” like we’ve got pandemic on our hands, when the truth of the matter is, we don’t.

It is 'ridiculous' that Australia is still acting 'like we've got a pandemic on hand' “We’re well past the point, you’d think, of these ridiculous restrictions. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has reaffirmed the National Cabinet’s plan to reopen Australia by Christmas – with the exception of Western Australia.

“This has gone past absurdity, this is ridiculous,” she said. “Here in Australia we’re still acting like we’ve got some sort of pandemic on our hands. “The truth of the matter is: we really don’t, and yet nobody seems to be calling out the fact we’ve got states with zero cases closing their border to states with zero cases. “People like McGowan are really just playing politics with this now.”

h_appleby Even globally the word pandemic shouldn’t be used .. it’s a joke , 2.53 million approx dead over 1 yr , 8 billion on the planet and what we think people don’t die ! More people on the planet today than 12 months ago , go figure

h_appleby In NSW it’s churchgoers who are paying the highest price for this stupidity. Wonder why that is?

Funnily enough the 'elimination model' that just about every Sky commentator and coalition MP told us ad nauseum was 'impossible' and impractical, wishful thinking has in all practicality occured. What better 'Covid normal' is there than eliminating it? Shove your Swedish model

Because we are doing what we doing.

Stupid, The reason why we don’t have a serious pandemic is that the government didn’t do anything as suggested by you. We would rather be cautious than in a serious pandemic. You don’t act like you have a pandemic, then you will have a serious one.

What's ridiculous is that Liz doesn't understand how defence against a pandemic, or any other defence for that matter, works. When you have just repelled an enemy attack, it's not the time to lay down your arms. Or maybe this is just more disingenuous rubbish from Sky.

🔹 The world has got pandemic. 🔹 PM is opening up a travel bubble to Asia. Hmmm. Helloworld suffering, is it? Not getting a flow of donations through? Helloworld Travel to sponsor Liberal Party fundraiser despite concerns it 'is not a good look'

Lucky for Melbourne Liz is far away from the adults + experts in control

Most of Australia never really had a first wave of the virus, they locked it up before it could circulate

Prevention is always better than a cure Miss Storer.

Exactly correct! Please report, main stream media all the other deaths that occur!!!!!

Australia has become a communist country. Its as simple as that! 'Papers please..........' 'Do not remove your mask.'

Ok but maybe you should tell your boy to reel it in a little..

Recovery rate of this 'pandemic' is SIMILAR to the seasonal flu FFS!!! The whole world has gone MAD!!! 🤪🤪🤪
