Queensland health authorities have listed a raft of new exposure sites after a mystery COVID-19 case emerged in the community.

The new case - an aviation worker in his 30s - had no recent history of overseas or international travel and the source of his infection is still under investigation.

A public health alert has been issued for locations in Eatons Hill, Albany Creek, Rockley and Aspley. Anyone who visited Seats 'R' Us in Rocklea on Thursday September 23 between 11:15am and 11:45am is considered a close contact and is urged to isolate and get tested immediately. Mother Duck Childcare and Kindergarten in Eatons Hill and Freedom Furniture in Aspley have been listed as casual contact venues and anyone who visited McDonald's Albany Creek Drive thru on Thursday between 5:05am and 5:10am is considered a low risk contact.
