The Australian market has fallen half a per cent at open on Monday but could have been worse if not for the surging iron ore prices.

Iron ore climbed approximately five per cent on Friday, hitting about $100 USD a tonne as it continues to climb,

Restrictions ease across Australia today | Sky News AustraliaLockdown restrictions are being eased across Australia today as New South Wales welcomes 50 patrons into its pubs, cafes and restaurants. \n\nLibraries, museums and beauty salons are permitted to reopen under conditions in NSW, with regional travel also allowed to resume. \n\nVictoria will see up to 20 indoor diners allowed in clubs, restaurants and cafes, with business owners required to enforce social distancing and record contact details of patrons to assist in contact tracing in the case of a coronavirus outbreak. \n\nFrom midday on Monday, Queensland residents will be allowed travel to regional areas for recreational purposes, with Indigenous communities remaining closed, after Premier Annastacia Palaszcuzuk bypassed the decision set to be made on June 12. \n\nSouth Australia is also set to move to stage two of their roadmap where up to 80 customers will be allowed in venues across the state under strict social distancing protocols, with beauty services also able to resume.\n\nImage: AP\n Dragging the CHAIN again ..
