The detention of three Australian citizens in Iran has been confirmed by the country's judiciary

Australia's foreign ministry had said it was providing consular assistance to the families of three Australians detained in Iran after Britain's Times newspaper reported that two British-Australian women and the Australian boyfriend of one of them had been detained in Iran.

The newspaper did not identify the dual British-Australians at the request of the British Foreign Office and said the Australian government was taking the lead in both cases. Britain said on Wednesday that it had raised concerns with the Iranian ambassador over the number of dual-nationality citizens detained in Iran and the conditions in which they were being held.It is believed the dual-nationals have been incarcerated in Evin jail in Tehran, the same facility which houses Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. The 41-year-old British-Iranian national has been incarcerated in the facility after being seized on spying charges in 2016.

When Auspol says it's providing consular assistance, that means a pencil and a toothbrush, and a monthly phone call to see if you need anything (but they'll only replace the pencil and the toothbrush). FreeAssangeNOW CmonAussie Auspol

Weapons used in oil field attack 'came from Iran', says Saudi coalitionThe weapons used to strike Saudi oil facilities were Iranian-made, the Riyadh-led coalition said Monday, heightening fears of regional conflict after the US hinted at a military response to the assault. Where were all the weapons made that the Saudis used on Yemen for the last 3 yrs and why is this being ignored by the media? Made out to be a random act when it’s actually part of an ongoing conflict. We could make a fairly substantial list of instances where the U.S (spurred on by Israel) has lied the public into illegal wars. So what makes this any different, considering Iran has been in the cross hairs for decades? Once again MSM complicit. Gulf of Tonkin incident...
