A nurse who tested positive to coronavirus could become the centre of a police investigation after it was revealed she allegedly went to work six times while infected with COVID-19.

Nine people from the Anglicare Newmarch House near Penrith in Western Sydney have since contracted the coronavirus, including five workers and four residents. The entire facility has since been placed into lockdown.

Anglicare boss Grant Millard said the worker did not display any COVID-19 symptoms while at work, nor had she disclosed she'd been in close contact with a confirmed case. The same nurse also worked two shifts at the Greystanes Disability Services in Leura, prompting the centre to place six workers and four residents into lockdown.

Son of resident lashes Anglicare Sydney after aged care employee worked with COVID-19 symptomsA man fears his 87-year-old father was potentially exposed to COVID-19 in an aged care home where a healthcare worker did six shifts despite having coronavirus symptoms. These aged care homes use the cheapest labour that don't get paid their pittance if they don't turn up for work. So who is to blame? Do not blame a nurse or carer! Sadly these people are so underpaid. They need to work to support their family, and they do an amazing job for a pittance to take care of your parents / relatives! Do not let the govt use a carer to play the blame game!! MoreMoneyForCarers PayMore Let me guess - a casual worker with no sick leave entitlement?

Why the passengers were cleared to disembark is the question that needs answering. Someone in either federal or state government allowed passengers off the ship, the high probability of infection was ignored. Let’s stick to the point eh? Fabulous
