A US influencer has been called out by fans for an Instagram post that showed “poor taste” following Kobe Bryant’s death, even though she has no links to the star.

While the Californian native has no known links to Kobe Bryant, this didn’t stop commenters from lashing out saying her post was poorly timed.

The influencer said contractual requirements meant the timing of the post was out of her control. Picture: Instagram/Cassie Randolph“This is an extremely sad day and am posting. I am also working and have contractual requirements out of my control,” Randolph said. While another said: “People can mourn as they continue their jobs. Kobe wouldn’t want that! Come on people be kind to others. This world is full of so much hate and judgment.”
