Two prisoners have been airlifted to hospital after a violent brawl at a maximum security prison in NSW’s central west.
Emergency services were called to Lithgow Correction Centre, on the Great Western Highway in Marrangaroo, about 1.10pm on Tuesday. Two prisoners have been taken to hospital after being stabbed in a brawl at Lithgow Correctional Centre.They were responding to reports two inmates had been injured during a brawl among a group of prisoners.
