Infant's body found in NSW, woman released

A woman has been released by police without charge after a baby's body was found at a home in southern NSW.

Officers searched the house in Corowa in the Murray River region on Wednesday night after hearing concerns about the welfare of a three-month-old boy.The body was located in a freezer, according to media reports.She was released on Thursday morning.A post-mortem examination will be held to determine the cause of death.The mayor of Corowa's Federation Council, Pat Bourke, said in a statement there was a shared sense of devastation in the community.

He asked locals to contact CrimeStoppers if they have any information and to respect the police investigation.
