India has been criticised for playing 'mind games' with Australia over the summer of cricket schedule.

Aussie legend Allan Border urged Cricket Australia to refuse potential requests from India to reschedule the New Year's Test to January 7. The request would be made to allow players to have a greater break between that match at the Boxing Day Test, but Border lashed India over the suggestion which could also impact the Big Bash League, and see a clash with the Australian Open tennis."If it's necessary because of what is happening globally with the virus then fair enough, but if it's just because they want a bit of a spell between Boxing Day and the New Year's Test match, then that's rubbish.

Ponting steps in on cricket's ugliest actRavi Ashwin, already slammed for a 'disgraceful and low act' last IPL, had Aaron Finch gone. What happened next came down to Aussie icon Ricky Ponting. Why should Batsmen get a warning? If a bowler bowls a no ball but takes a wicket they don’t say ok you can have that wicket but that is your warning, it just doesn’t count and that’s the way it is. So it should be the same for the batter Legitimately not taking an opportunity to take a wicket.. A sportsmen's conduct would leverage against that! Its not against the rules for the bowler to pull up his run and take the bails off so why should he give the non facing batsmen a warning.. stayinyourcrease If any batsman walks out of their crease before the ball has been bowled then they deserve to be out, end of story.
