A week after she was left on the bench by the Firebirds during Super Netball's Indigenous Round, Jemma Mi Mi plays a crucial role in her side's win over Collingwood Magpies.

A tearful Jemma Mi Mi has celebrated Queensland Firebirds' 65-63 win over Collingwood Magpies, a week after being left on the bench in Super Netball's Indigenous Round.Mi Mi, the only Indigenous player in Super Netball, did not take the court in the competition's Indigenous RoundMi Mi, the only Indigenous player in the Super Netball ranks, came off the bench against the Magpies in Brisbane on Saturday, posting 22 feeds and 10 goal assists in the Firebirds' victory.

She showed her emotions following Saturday's win when she was embraced by her Firebirds teammates and coach Roselee Jencke, and congratulated by Magpies players after full-time.Following the victory over the Magpies, the Firebirds' Gabi Simpson said the side had dedicated the win to Mi Mi. Jencke said she "possibly" would have made a different decision but reiterated her position as Firebirds coach was "around winning".

That is the point. The BLM protests/ looting have got some of my dem friends running scared, it didn’t do them any favours!
