The number of Australian citizens and residents allowed to return into the country will be cut by more than half.
The Prime Minister said every state in the country will soon require all returning travellers to pay for their 14 days of hotel quarantine."I will leave that to them to make their announcements at the appropriate time and where possible, we will seek to have some sort of national uniformity across those pricings."Yesterday NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian floated the idea of arrivals paying for their quarantine stays.
The state has been footing the bill thus far for people returning from overseas, many of whom are not NSW residents.Continue reading
