Sky News host Peta Credlin says ministerial responsibility doesn't seem to mean much anymore, whereas in the past if there was a serious ministerial error, it would result in jobs being lost.

Sky News host Peta Credlin says ministerial responsibility doesn't seem to mean much anymore, whereas in the past if there was a serious ministerial error, it would result in jobs being lost. "Not so today," Ms Credlin said.

"Just as absent are any rules for public servants and officials who act in ways that costs the taxpayer millions, or cost some their lives," she said. "The Ruby Princess, the hotel quarantine failures in Melbourne, as it stands tonight, every MP, every official, all of them still have their jobs, and all of them, of course, on full pay. Ms Credlin said this is the case "while tens of thousands of businesses have gone under and millions of workers have lost their jobs".

“..they witnessed Peta Credlin lovingly feeding Abbott food from her fork in public at a restaurant and then resting her head on his shoulder. It then cites an anonymous minister who says he saw Abbott slap Credlin on the bottom not knowing anyone was watching the scene.” Auspol

DitchTheMurdochWitch

Barry o'farrell resigned over a bottle of wine Dan's actions have killed hundreds He's worse than the mosque killer in NZ

Resign Dan Andrews

No accountability

Truly these radical liberals and Murdoch are digging their own hole i think most average people have had a gut-full of this non stop Liberal favoritism that is indeed doing the complete opposite of what Murdoch is trying to achieve & only making Andrews more popular than ever

I agree. I can't believe that 80% of the lnp still have their jobs. But I guess the party would implode and there would be no prime Minister.

IStandWithDan BoycottMurdoch

The irony is thick with this one

Federal LNP would be pretty much wiped out if they were actually held responsible and lost their jobs for errors, rorts, and other unscrupulous or dishonest behaviour.

When the fed aged care minister is not held to the same standards why would anyone take you seriously?

Peta is so funny when it comes to serious political opinions. She should transfer to the Comedy channel to be in her element.

She was being ironic surely.

😂😂😂 now there’s an area where she’s an expert.

You’re absolutely correct. The LNP seems to completely ignore their own ministerial transgressions.

Peta forgot to include on top of this list her dear friends Bridget McKenzie, Scott Morrison, Angus Taylor, Barnaby Joyce, David Littleproud, Peter Dutton and Richard Colbeck. sportsrort watergate droughtenvoy AgedCareCrisis RubyPrincess.

Diminished responsibility by politicians & corporates under 50, is a result of changes in the education system in the 80's. Teacher-student respect & discipline was re-evaluated. Every kid in the team gets a trophy, is a is a hero, is the man. Reduced respect for law, society.

If that was the case PETA we would have no federal Liberal members left, all incompetent crooks

Why does only include Dan Andrews picture? 🤔There is a prolific amount of Federal Government issues staring the community in the face. Looking for some journalistc balance here, unfortunately seeing little journalism skill, only pub chat equivalent.

Australia’s No1

Credlin has zero credibility, which is, of course, why she's employed by News Corp.

Correct - but Colbeck, Sukkar, Taylor to name just three are still around.

Didnt she get caught drink driving and got off because she was taking a length from Tony

We got rid of Abbott & co so something is working

Of course you’re talking about both the State and Federal governments aren’t you 🤔

Didn’t u know Peta.. we need to be more understanding of people’s shortcomings.. we might offend someone if we don’t 🙄

Could somebody please put Peta Credlin and her humongous head back in the box Please

And if there was Ministerial responsibility the ScottMorrisonMP led Coalition of Criminals would be decimated! And this is just four....

Especially the Fed GovtScottMorrisonMP is snookered ! One Minister on misterious leave- two more Ministers with clouds over their performance and some outstanding Rorting matters. Government can fall easier than you think and a reshuffle won’t necessarily save it! Election2020

We should sack the entire Andrews government for completely failing the people of Victoria. Anyone who can't see they've failed us is either paid to say that or evil to their core.

Why are our taxes being used to pay politicians if there is no accountability?

Credlin talking bout ministerial responsibility? Hahahahahahehehehe..... OH P L E A S S E.............. HEHEHEHEhehehhehehhahahaOh oOH OH bloody Jesus Mummy of Bloody Mary...Hyperventilating..Pick SELFoff Floor......hahahahahahahahhahahahehehehehehehOh Oh SAVE ME GOD PLEASE....

The Democrats 'hope to muddy the election waters with mail-in ballots' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host James Morrow says Donald Trump’s opposition to mail in, as opposed to absentee voting, has kicked off a loopy left conspiracy that he was trying to shut the postal service to prevent people from voting. \n\nWhile Trump was fine with people requesting absentee ballots, the president was concerned with mail-in voting schemes where ballots were distributed en mass with no real checks, Mr Morrow said. \n\nMr Morrow said a proponent of this conspiracy decided that locks on mailboxes were 'a disgrace and immediate threat to American democracy'.\n\nThese locks had been put on mailboxes by local officials to stop a series of fishing thefts back in 2016. \n\nBloomberg News published a story suggesting 'Trump can't hide his true reason for derailing the post office – the president can talk about finances all he wants, but his own goal is to swing an election'.\n\nMr Morrow said the mail-in voting schemes as pushed by the left were problematic.\n\nHe said a judge on Wednesday invalidated the results of a mail-in local council election that was so riven with fraud that four people were charged with criminal conduct.\n\n“By pushing mail-in voting – using people's fear of going to the polls in person because of coronavirus as their excuse- they have a chance to muddy the waters and make what will likely be a very close election endlessly contestable and throw any Trump victory into doubt, and into the streets,” Mr Morrow said.\n\nImage: Getty 'loony left' James Morron says what.. If we let everybody vote by mail, Republicans would never win another election. I believe that was his quote, but you know whatever man.
