Pierik_AgeSport Always amazes me how people that fail at one sport get a walk up shot at another. Kind of like Ralene Castle from rugby, they go from one sport to another under performing but they still are given jobs.

Pierik_AgeSport He did nothing but bad things for cricket. Good luck golf.

Pierik_AgeSport What a shame nastyman

Treasury projects 400,000 Victorians to lose jobs amid strict lockdowns | Sky News AustraliaTreasurer Josh Frydenberg says Australia is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic in “two different stages” as Victoria is weighed down by strict lockdowns while the other states have begun to bounce back. \n\n“It’s Treasury’s forecast that up to 400,000 [Victorians] will either lose their job or see their hours reduced to zero as a result of the restrictions that have now been imposed,” he told Sky News. \n\n“Our focus as a government is to assist Victoria, stem the tide of new cases, flatten that curve and then gradually ease those restrictions.”\n\nMr Frydenberg said the government was committed to helping Victoria fight the virus by supplying ADF and medical personnel as well as through various economic supports. \n\nHe said the other states were beginning to see some growth on the jobs front as of the 1.3 million jobs lost during the pandemic, about 700,000 were recovered with about 315,000 of those in New South Wales. \n\nTreasury estimates indicated nearly four million Australians would be on the JobKeeper program across the September quarter, however projected an additional 700,000 jobs would have been lost without the government’s subsidy programs. \n\n“COVID-19 has been a wrecking ball through the global economy and here in Australia the economic cost has been immense,” the Treasurer said. \n\n“Our absolute focus is on getting people back to work.” \n\nImage: Getty JoshFrydenberg (((Frydenberg))) is a bit of a muppet.
