A structural engineering review estimated remediation works on the aging OTC Dish in Carnarvon would cost $1.7 million.Carnarvon Space Museum chairman Phil Youd said the Overseas Telecommunications Commission Dish was the only one of its type in WA, and only the second in Australia alongside Ceduna's facility in South Australia.
Growing up in Carnarvon, the OTC dish has always been an iconic feature of the landscape. Be sad to see it go
