Believe it or not, kids know what gender they really are from a young age. There is nothing wrong with allowing them to live as their chosen gender, as it will be years before they can start hormone therapy.

This type of thing has been going on forever but it was always hidden, swept under the carpet, ignored. There are adults who felt this way as children, it’s just out in the open more now & for those kids that need help & understanding, good! Trans people have always existed.
Knowing that these kids are not at puberty age when they experience some hormonal flare-up, I find it creepy for a child to experience these feelings about their gender identity. And lets say if this is true, posting it on social media place kids at risk of future bullying.
Clearly, if this story is to be believed, this child had significant psychological problems. I pity the poor parents having to deal with this, however, I do not think pretending a he is a she solves the problem.

Surely at her age she is too young to know. I was taught that it is not until we are 11 that we can think properly, of course I may have been taught wrong. I would hate to see someone make a mistake as a child that they would regret as an adult.
