So i take from the story that she took a koan deliberately knowing that she couldn't or wasn't going to pay it back. Without knowing the facts of her application details she provided i find it odd she blames the bank

If you don't have savings then you don't go on a holiday, period. Where were you during the most crucial maths lessons at school? Only borrow money for a home and save up for everything else, or go without. No sympathy from me. Hopefully you've learned your lesson.

Hmmm. Irresponsible lending, how about irresponsible spending? 😳 take some responsibility for your own stupidity.

Does this woman accept any responsibility for seeking a loan she obviously could not afford? Did a bank officer have her arm twisted up her back? I don't think so. But she is obviously happy for her bank to take ALL the blame.

How about she take some blame and not sign up for a loan she didn’t intend to pay back

Hahahah but you applied for it? I don’t understand the complaint.

Why didn’t you get advice from mum and dad? Why get a loan for a holiday you can’t afford? Not naive , silly.

Adults should be capable of basic arithmetic and income/expenses calculations. Blaming a bank for your ignorance won't solve stupidity.

Who is forcing them to apply for loans , banks always offer but i decline . Banks are taking risk when lending to this imbeciles who often cheat to get a loan . You are adults so be responsible for your actions.

Soooo she goes into a bank with a low income to finance a holiday she can’t afford and is upset when the bank wants their money back? 🤔 How was the holiday? Moron! The banks aren’t completely at fault here!

2007, nab approved my loan when it should not have, it used pay slips consisting of 4 weeks pay when it was only 2 (2 weeks advanced pay in insurance industry when you first start). had to end up selling in 2009. both at fault

But she applied yeah, seems a crazy attitude for someone applying for finance? I would be surprised if they approve me, but will spend the funds if they do Imeancmonman spellplease

ASIC goes nuclear on CBA ahead of royal commission reportASIC has banned CBA's financial planning business from charging any fees or taking on new customers after the regulator determined that the bank hadn’t yet properly fixed the weeping sore of fees for no service. Banksters As long as there's EFT for wages the bank's don't give a hoot. Nothing like the impetus of a damning report into financial institutions AND the regulators to make ASIC move on the most blatant purveyors of corporate criminality, stealing by deception. Pity the regulator, with too many from the corporate sector in their number, waited so long
