Who goes interstate during a pandemic and expects no hassles?
Ppl are dying. Catching up with family is exactly how it went wrong in Melbourne. Any other interstate apts can be done by phone or postponed. It's too risky to allow this type of travel unchecked and unfortunately self quarantine at home has not been working
I call bullshit. I’m in regional Victoria with no intention of travelling anywhere and somehow I know all about the self pay hotel quarantine. To plead ignorance is either liar or stupid and neither should be trusted.

Honestly, the rules are there for her safety and that of the community. I have absolutly no sympathy. Yes the lady could have self isloated, look at the sisuation in Melbourne caused by guarantees. Yes its unfortunate, covid is the enemy not the rules.

as unfortunate as this story is people were aware of the changes and it was widely advertised by the Qld government to the point that my step sister abandoned her flat to get the flight that arrived 30 minutes before new rules...
It is the price you pay for travel in this new pandemic world of ours, get used to it if you insist on travelling. My advice is don't travel. 😷
