One less distraction for teachers and kids.

I design apps for mobile phones and I know that they are specifically designed in every way to distract users. They are addictive. Every expert in my field would never give a child under 15 a smartphone let alone have it in a classroom.

I am a teacher and this person knows nothing about students and mobile phones.

A little better analysis on your part would be encouraged. This mobile phone age has got out of hand. Ask yourself what are looking at?

taking seriously something that has a 'lol' in it aha

Distraction is one of the biggest hurdles for students, particularly high school students. The less time on a phone, the better.

Its also the use of online sites including quizzes and reviews to test knowledge/get feedback. Once another class 'hacked' into our session. Many of these 'tasks' foster competition to be recognised for anything right down to the identity handle created rather than develop skills

Lets not. People are consumed by their mobiles. case in point two parents walking two small children in a pram there was no communication between them or their children. They were texting on their mobiles as they walked. I was surprised that they did not trip over anything.

Let Folau follow St Paul's teachings on gays, and let us find them ridiculousOnly in Australia could the views of a fullback matter so much. Attempting to censor Israel Folau was never the right approach. PruGoward Nobody was censoring the fucking guy! FFS its a breach of his employment contract, don't make it out to be anything else if he wants to go around saying what he has said he is free to do so, and has since, just cannot be employed by the ARU! PruGoward And here it is 'let us find them ridiculous'. You can't accept the entirety of the teachings of St Paul and be welcomed by the gatekeepers of polite Australian society. Just sounds like a teenage girl saying 'lets not talk to them anymore'. PruGoward

Get a jammer. It’s cheap and available everywhere. In case of emergency, use landline. All schools has one.
