Hundreds of unmarked graves found in 'horrific' discovery at second Canadian Indigenous school siteA Canadian Indigenous group has announced the 'horrific and shocking discovery' of hundreds of unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school, just weeks after a similar discovery shook the country. Tip of the iceberg. Actually for Canada it's not the ancient history, it is contemporary. Re-write this sentence unless you have evidence that this terrible treatment applied to ALL of the children. “The children were malnourished and physically and sexually abused in what the country's Truth and Reconciliation Commission called 'cultural genocide' in 2015.” Next time Canada wants to lecture another country on human rights it can fuck right off

Fiona Stanley calls on WA government to rescue service preventing evictions of Aboriginal familiesThe First Nations Homelessness Project, which has saved hundreds of Aboriginal families from possible eviction, loses its federal government funding at the end of this month. What are the obscenely wealthy churches doing about this? Why aren’t they using a fraction of the horde of gold acquired over 2000 years of robbery to help these poor people? Any organisation that stops evictions is a good thing, but why does it have to be Aboriginals only? Can't other organisations be used to stop evictions of Aboriginals? Stop putting them in houses. Give them their own countries so they can return to their traditional lifestyle.
