WhatsApp has detailed how users who refuse the new terms will incrementally lose key functionalities over 'a period of several weeks', effectively rendering it useless. 9News

There was immediate backlash in January when news broke of the looming shift in privacy, despite WhatsApp maintaining neither it nor Facebook will be able to see the content of messages or calls, but that the data would be used for commerce features and ads.

The post states that "No one will have their accounts deleted or lose functionality of WhatsApp" but it lays out the ways the app will lose functionality.People will have "limited functionality" until they accept the update."You won't be able to access your chat list, but you can still answer incoming phone and video calls," the statement said.

Then, after a few weeks of limited functionality, "you won't be able to receive incoming calls or notifications and WhatsApp will stop sending messages and calls to your phone."Starting on May 15, the popular instant messaging app will change its privacy policy to gather more information about its usersHowever, accounts that are inactive for 120 days will be axed.

It's important a 'science-based approach' is backed | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny has discussed the “latest abomination over breastfeeding” after the Australian Breastfeeding Association recently released a new transgender-inclusive guide in which 'chestfeeding', among other terms, was promoted.\n\n“The Weekend Australian's Bernard Lane revealed that the taxpayer-funded Australian Breastfeeding Association and LGBTQ+ group Rainbow Families have collaborated on a $20,000 transgender-inclusive guide for people who ‘chestfeed’,” Mr Kenny said. \n\n“Yep, women don't breastfeed, people chestfeed”. \n\n“This is biological appropriation, brought to you by Australian Breastfeeding Association,” Mr Kenny said. \n\n“Shouldn't they change their name now to 'chestfeeding association', this, of course, is brought to you by activists who know all about milking government funds, but absolutely nothing about the milk of human kindness”.\n\nMr Kenny spoke with the IPA's Dr Bella d'Abrera about the issue. \n\n'It's important we back a science-based approach,' Mr Kenny said. I'm amazed that permanently outraged Kenny doesn't have 24/7 chest pains. Hell really has frozen over hasn't it? SkyNews asking for a science backed approach? Can we expect that you'll now demand a science backed approach to things like climate change or how f***ing stupid Rowan Dean really is auspol How is this parody account still operating? skyaustnews should complain to Twitter management.

Hundreds hurt in new Jerusalem clashes between Israelis and PalestiniansHundreds were wounded in new clashes Monday between Palestinians and Israeli security forces in Jerusalem, ahead of a planned Jewish nationalist march marking Israel's 1967 capture of the holy city. What word other than terrorism can you assign to this act Shame on it you SBS for this biased description, this should have said 'Hundreds of unarmed Palestinians were wounded by heavily armed Israeli forces.' Israel is doing exactly what the Nazi's did but just in a more 'palatable' way.
