Here's what the major parties say they'll do to tackle climate change if they win the federal election.

Labor has a higher emission reduction target of 45 per cent, which the Coalition argues is too ambitious and irresponsible. The Clean Energy Finance Corporation will also have its funding topped up to $10 billion., calling for 100 per cent of electricity to come from renewables as soon as possible.

The party would make it illegal to dig, burn or ship thermal coal by 2030 arguing it is no longer compatible with human life.Greens are strongly opposed to the Adani coal mineThe party would also invest $2 billion in a new nature fund that would protect native animals and plants. The Greens do not support Labor's plan for Australia's biggest polluters to access international carbon markets.

If the party does secure the balance of power in the Upper House, it has vowed to ensure government policies are more ambitious.

There is no coal inducing climate change, except for the idea firmly stuck in every lefties brainwashed brain

Climate change the new religion

Henry_Belot Snowy2 for peak power demand for 500 K homes? This capacity will be eaten up by 5 years worth of immigration. ScottMorrisonMP billshortenmp How many Snowy2s plus wind and solar farms have to be built to replace 15 GW brown and black coal plants running 24/7?

This article is founded on the false belief that one or more policies are implementable and affordable, or even relevant. With Shorten flatly refusing to explain how we can afford Labors ideas & the real possibility that tech advances in the next 10 yrs will make the issue moot.

People are waking up to the extreme CON game with years of data to back up what a RIPOFF climate change is. Climate change is welfare for the extremely wealthy.

'The Greens have the most ambitious policy'... ❌ Only among the majors. SciencePartyAus has a target for 800% renewables to export energy to the world, is against new coal, and wants a cap&trade ETS to reduce emissions in all sectors.✅

And what about the AustDems policies? Or other parties? You keep on focussing on the Greens when there are other parties with serious policies that the public need to hear from.

The indoctrination of the masses.

I don't think Aussies need anymore explanation about LNP climate change policy. The truth is simply they don't have one ... Check out the link mentioned in the following video if you want to understand what real democracy can do to transition our nation in seven to ten years ...

LNP's Climate Solutions Fund is a rebadge of Direct Action DA was a sham policy rewarding polluters

What ever the change, it is evidently too late for us to stop global warming now. Let's hope preparation for a catastrophe in future is in the next governments plans.

Climate change the 'new green religion' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says the environment normally can’t be improved by damaging the economy with policies that ‘take a first world economy back to the dark ages and impoverish its people’. \n\nMs Credlin says Australia has showed before that voters won’t support a reduction in their living standards because of ‘the new green religion’ of climate change.\n\nMs Credlin says that while climate change remains an environmental issue, the green-left tend to win, but if it became an economic issue, the centre-right could win instead. \n\n\n\n It’s an economic issue, all environmental issues are economic issues.
