By aggregating tweets by candidates and posts directed back at them, his team has been able to track the topics generating the most engagement.
"There's a feeling amongst campaigners that Twitter leans a little bit more left and Facebook a little bit more to the right," Prof. Bruns explained."That might a be a reason they're trying to direct people to their Facebook pages and away from paying attention to what's happening on Twitter." Conversations, comments, tweets and memes fly between users without corroboration and often without the parties' involvement at all."They're not, it's literally fake news.
