Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines returned in full force for the talent show’s grand finale on Monday night - just one day after being rushed to hospital following a horror head injury sustained in a dressing room fall.
Returning to the episode which revealed the season winner, Hines promised the audience that she felt fine. Hines posted to her social media after her fall, seemingly downplaying the incident and telling fans that she couldn’t be on the show because it had “been a big few days of work” and she was feeling “a little unwell”."I'm feeling much better now and I'm so excited to see you all tonight for the Grand Finale."
“Before we get into it, you will have spotted that we are missing someone very important and very special to the Idol family. Unfortunately, Marcia is unwell and unable to join us tonight," she said.
