Houston, who resigned as global senior pastor last month, attacks church he founded in online post

The founder of Hillsong, Brian Houston, has accused the megachurch of “losing its soul” and says his wife has been made redundant by the church’s board “through no choice of her own”.two decades ago after internal investigations found he had engaged in inappropriate conduct of “serious concern” with two women.

“After 39 years of exemplary service and extraordinary faithfulness and fruitfulness, this is the communication Bobbie received from the“This just 3 weeks after she hosted her 26th year of Colour Conferences. She has relentlessly served God and served people as she stood side by side with me for four decades leading Hillsong Church, faithful in the good times and the tough times alike.

“Before the email was sent, the board member sent her a text message to offer the opportunity for a phone call after she received the email. The desire was to show genuine care and open the opportunity for further discussion. The Houstons founded Hillsong in 1983 in Sydney’s western suburbs, with churches now in 30 countries and an average global attendance of 150,000 each week, according to its website. The church’s global board said in a statement that Houston“We have sadly been dealing with two complaints made against Pastor Brian over the last 10 years,” the church’s global board said.

Yeah let's attacked the church after your disgraced just another evangelistic preacher that's no different from those that used to be in the circuit tents

It’s not a church, HillsongExposed is a business. Make them pay tax!

😥😥😥😥😂🤣😂🤣

Or is it losing the ‘soul’ because his influence is waning?

A megachurch should not exist.

It's just a business decision really, it's nothing personal. It just makes financial sense, and is completely legal, according to the lawyers I am sure. Similar to the founding of Hillsong I imagine.

LnpTruthLibrary I kinda think telling people they'll be rewarded with wealth & success if they go to his church & give them money is about as 'cold & callous' as it gets. A deviant theology that wants to place their particular version of religion at the apex of society.

How to lose a soul when you never had one? 🤔

LoL

Blasphemy.

They will just have to struggle along on the $40 million that Scumbag gave them

They should all be in jail

That assumes it once had a soul. Listen up, business doesn’t have a soul

Oh boo hoo, you pay no tax, you scam people, your all fake rorters

“I don’t even have words to express how cold and callous this has all become.” Pretty much sums up Hillsong in one sentence.
