NSW Police has ruled out fining the organisers of a Hillsong church youth camp where crowds were filmed flouting “both the spirit and intent” of COVID-19 public health orders. 7NEWS

The NSW premier on Friday morning called for Hillsong to be fined over the incident.

“If the legal teams believe that it was in breach of the public health order, then my expectation would be that a fine would be issued.” he said.Dr Chant also weighed in on Friday morning, explaining that while the government had “set the guidance” she encouraged “everyone in the community to think about the risks that are posed”.

She also gave general health advice to “move things outdoors whenever you can and ensure ventilation”.
