Kookaburra Queen crash: Woman falls through floor onto passenger on toilet after vessel smashes into jetty"I started sliding and then I started to pick up momentum in the slide, I hit a ledge, cartwheeled over and slammed back into the rock and that's when this whole side of the body hit the rock, I bounced off the rock into the water.

The Brisbane Bushwalkers community launched a search party yesterday after he failed to turn up for work and his boss rang his ex-wife - who raised the alarm."It was two days of lifting my leg and scrambling," he said.Mr Parker said it was thinking of his family that "kept driving" him to survive.A rescue helicopter spotted the hiker today two days after his fall and winched him to safety.

"Neil has some significant injuries to his left lower limb and his left wrist. He's got fracture of the distal tibia and fibula which are the bones that make up the ankle joint and to the distal radius and ulna in the left wrist," she said. "As he has described, the limb is a dead weight and useless, you can't walk on it, you can't put weight through it, you need to drag it and similarly with the wrist, you would not be able to bear weight through that or use that to aid your mobility at all."

"That was my first amazing gift of life I guess that I didn't sustain a head injury and drown in the water, or even a back injury," he told reporters.

Berejiklian’s ‘survival’ will hinge on cleaning up ‘massive error of process’ | Sky News AustraliaNSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham says if Gladys Berejiklian wants to survive at the helm of the state government, she’ll need to acknowledge the “massive error of process” surrounding the abortion decriminalisation bill and “pledge to never do it again”.\n\n“These things only get through the parliament if the government, and the government alone, sets aside speaking time,” Mr Latham told Sky News on Tuesday.\n\n“The government is complicit in the way in which this has been handled; if fact, they’re the only ones who’ve ultimately been responsible for rushing it, ' he said. \n\nMr Latham’s remarks come after three rebellious state Liberal MPs announced on Monday night they would move a spill motion against their premier over the handling of the abortion legislation, but they promptly called their coup, scheduled to take place Tuesday morning, off.\n\nHe said the premier needs to clean up her act in terms of “decent” parliamentary process.\n\n“The truth of the bill is once you take abortion out of the crimes act and put it into the health act, you’ve got to codify it, under the law of NSW, all these complex, detailed practices.”\n\n“You can’t do that in the space of a fortnight.\n\n“The people behind this were really putting up something that was from another planet — it was never going to fly.”\n\nImage: News Corp Australia capitulate to the conservative minority because they shout the loudest.... An Arsehat dictating to an Arsehat, that Arsehats are dictating for other Arsehats who are trying to dictate about a law that dictates against people’s rights ....... 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤦🏻‍♂️ Arsehats auspol💩 An eight year sinecure and barely 6% of the vote- I wouldn’t expect GladysB to take much notice of him!!
