Manager of the Silver Brumby lodge in Thredbo village, Emma Vidgen, convinced retiree couple Laura and Peter Taylor to stay on and work breakfast shifts following their summer holidays."People are stretched as far as they can be," Ms Vidgen said. "Some restaurants are only operating as takeaway venues solely because of lack of staff. We are literally unable to find anybody to work.

I have been in 4 hospitals in Victoria in the last 3 months and 90% of the nurses are from The Philippines, other Asian or Indian. WTF are Aussie kids whingeing about there being no jobs?
