The pilot then declared a PAN - which stands for possible assistance needed - and asked air traffic control to find experts of the King Air plane who he could speak to. The Queensland pilot said his two passengers - Michael Reynolds, 60, and his wife Ines, 65 - took the news"pretty well" as he briefed the pair on what will happen.
