Parry Creek Farm resort and caravan park owner Mark Dyson keeps an eye out for two resident crocodiles, as he's forced to canoe across his flooded property after big rain in WA's Kimberley.

A Kimberley tourist park owner says he's been forced to use a canoe and dinghy to get around his property after heavy rain and flooding.Several areas across the Kimberley are on storm and flood watch with residents told to prepare for rising river levels.

More than 170 millimetres of rain fell at Parry Creek Farm, about 25 kilometres south of Wyndham in the East Kimberley, up until early Saturday morning. "Looks like a set of rapids at the moment, the water's coming through at about 100 miles an hour ," Mr Dyson said. He said it was not uncommon for the area to flood, the latest due to a slow-moving weather system across the Kimberley."In the middle of the dry season, obviously everybody's complaining about dust and I'm flat out trying to find fresh water to put on the campground to keep it green," Mr Dyson said.Mr Dyson said property damage to the farm's main two-storey building was minimal, as he prepared for possible flooding ahead of the wet season.
