Dr Izzat Abdulhadi, Palestine’s Ambassador to Australia, has vehemently denied claims Palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible for the Gaza hospital blast, sparking a heated exchange with Sky News host Peter Stefanovic.

Israel and Palestine have continued to push the blame onto each other for the deadly explosion however the US government and independent security experts argued the preliminary evidence of the scene pointed to a local militant group.

A heated debate has erupted live on air between Peter Stefanovic and the Palestinian ambassador to Australia as they discussed who was responsible for the bombing of a Gaza hospital which killed more than 400 people. Picture: Sky News Australia“But how can you be so sure? How can you be so sure? I’m no expert but I’m looking at that picture and I can see the crater is very small compared to what Israeli bombs can usually do,” the First Edition host said on Thursday.

He responded with the disbelief that Palestinians had killed their own people after Israel suggested it was a misfired rocket from Gaza terrorists that caused the explosion. Tensions were brought to a high in the interview after Stefanovic suggested majority of the evidence supported Israel’s innocence and that “most people were in line with Israel” including, US President Joe Biden who visited Tel Aviv on Wednesday.
