‘Heartbreaking’: Mother of boy allegedly murdered speaks for first time

He was found by emergency services unresponsive and with injuries to his head and chest and taken to Westmead Hospital where he later died.

Police have so far charged four boys, aged 14, 15 and two aged 13; a 15-year-old girl; a 19-year-old woman; and a 29-year-old man over their alleged roles in Jason’s death. Blacktown Police Area Commander, Superintendent Steve Egginton, said the men may hold vital information about the events leading up to Jason’s death.
