The Sydney-born star, who called herself KJ, died just two weeks before her 49th birthday, her younger brother Isaac Humphries saying he only found out she was suffering from the eating disorder nine months earlier.
Ms Jaye had wanted to help remove the stigma from the illness, but her career as a health, diet and fitness guru precluded her from doing so. Over the past five years, with a demanding career, her health had started failing and her organs began shutting down. Following her death last month, friends and family posted tributes to Ms Jaye’s incredible zest for life.
