Hawthorn’s skipper has been ruled out of this Saturday’s clash down in Tasmania, while Richmond could welcome back an important trio.
But Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell on Thursday confirmed Sicily wouldn’t face the Saints – and couldn’t put a timeframe on his return at this stage.Mitchell said the club would weigh up replacing Sicily with either third-year player Jai Serong or mature-age SSP recruit Ethan Phillips, who’s been close to an AFL debut for weeks.
At Richmond, coach Adem Yze has revealed gun midfielder Dion Prestia will return to face the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night, while premiership duo Noah Balta and Jack Graham are also chances to play.
