Hate-fuelled comments haunt Liberal candidate as Bill Shorten clarifies tax comments

Forget Game of Thrones, there's only one king of the north and he lives nowhere near Westeros.

The 2019 federal election calculator is a way of converting percentage support for political parties into numbers of seats in the House of Representatives. Labor's Cathy O'Toole won the Townsville seat of Herbert, thanks to One Nation preferences, by 37 votes in 2016, making it the most marginal seat in the country.

Labor's support for Adani has been haunting its central and northern Queensland candidates all campaign.

Fact Check: Can algorithms screen out hate content on social media at a moment's notice? In the wake of the Christchurch massacre, Scott Morrison overestimated the ability of algorithms to censor hate content, as RMIT ABC Fact Check found out. How is hate content defined? Free speech is what makes western culture so successful. Mess around with that at your peril. People who use social media and get angry don't want to get angry - but it's current algorithms know how to appeal to that anger/fear. Maybe social media could be used for good rather than evil - and give them yoga, soft kitties and calming herbal tea adverts instead. ABCFactCheck Ya'd think he would have got a briefing on this before making spurious, unfounded claims on a rather technical issue

Facebook bans far-right British groups from platform | Sky News AustraliaFacebook has banned a spate of British far-right groups, including the British National Party and the English Defence League from its platform. \n\nThe social media giant has cited the groups violate the site's regulations, as they promote hate and violence. \n\nIndividual profiles associated with the groups have also been banned. \n\nFacebook has received international attention over its role in spreading hate, with international leaders demanding tougher regulations. \n Translation: Facebook is using “hate speech” as a weapon to crackdown on conservative voices, by surreptitiously categorising their ideas as “hate speech” in order to ensure LEFT WING POLITICAL PARTYS have no effective opposition & hence win elections by default By Skynews lack of outrage it appears you support their stance - a strange way for the 'free' press to behave Will you be advocating for far left organisation and other hate speech groups to be banned in reciprocal fairness or is Skynews support only a one way street?
