Ever since Donald Trump became US President the hard-Left faction has been fighting to take over the Democratic Party, as seen in the landslide victory of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the New York Democratic primaries says Sky news host James Morrow. He said there is a fight taking place within the Democrats which is about the desire to control and consolidate the hold of the "far-woke progressive left" over the entire party.

He said her victory in New York "represents this ongoing civil war that's happening on the Left that's spilling out on our streets". "So much of what's happening right now, the statues, the cancel culture, all of that, it's not about fighting the right, just yet". "What it is right now, its about fighting to control and consolidate the hold of the far-woke progressive left over the entire democratic party.

Entertainment workers 'left behind' despite relief package | Sky News AustraliaLabor has largely welcomed the government’s arts and entertainment relief package but insists it does not provide enough immediate relief for workers within the industry.\n\nOn Thursday Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a $250 million package to help the struggling arts and entertainment sector.\n\nThe package was built up of several components including $90 million of concessional loans through the bank, which will be guaranteed by the government.\n\nA further $75 million will be direct grants to support getting productions back up and running.\n\n“If you’re road crew for gigs, you work event to event and have a different employer each time,”Shadow Arts Minister Tony Burke told Sky News.\n\n“These individuals get employed as short term casuals or freelancers.\n\n“So once the rule was set in place to be eligible for JobKeeper you had to be with the same employer for more than 12 months as a casual, they all got knocked out.\n\n“Today’s announcing, they still got knocked out.\n\n“It’s not until the social distancing rules get lifted and events can start to happen that they get work again.\n\n“So while I am pleased for a large number of businesses.\n\n'The workforce and every worker that has been left behind for the last hundred days, they’re still left behind.”\n Well if Labor don’t think it is enough then why don’t they donate their pay to the industry We can’t just throw money to everyone who needs it. We all knew from the start that some people will get hit harder by this pandemic than others. This is the problem with labor; they are a greedy bunch.

Albanese will be tested to maintain energy bipartisanship by the green-Left | Sky News AustraliaOpposition Leader Anthony Albanese is being realistic on climate policy, but his real test will be the green-Left inside and out of the Labor Party working to make sure he adopts a “radical climate” agenda, Sky News host Chris Kenny says.\n\n“Instead of putting up a carbon tax or a price on carbon that voters have repeatedly rejected, he is now looking to offer mere platitudes and look to find common ground with the government,” Mr Kenny said.\n\nIn a step towards bipartisanship, Mr Albanese has moved to abandon the National Energy Guarantee and Clean Energy Target. \n\nMr Albanese has endorsed Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s energy policy but warned any new government plans will need to accommodate higher emissions reduction targets.\n\n“That's smart, and realistic, but the real test is whether he can keep that position,” Mr Kenny said\n\n“Because the green left activists inside and outside the Labor Party will work day and night to make sure he takes a radical climate police to the next election.”\n\nImage: Getty\n AlboMP Globalisation has literally crippled Australian farming & agricultural sectors and the economy. From surplus economies Australia now suffers a massive trade deficit. May 2018’s “Debt Clock” showed the total of Australian debt as $3.5 trillion of which $800 billion is Govt Debt.
