Sky News contributor Nicholas Reece says while Twitter “possible overreacted” by suspending Pauline Hanson from its platform, the video the One Nation leader posted that prompted the ban was “an ill-judged attempt at humour”.

Ms Hanson was temporarily banned from Twitter after sharing a video in which she suggested climate change protestors in Brisbane should be dispersed using electric cattle prods. Mr Reece believes the senator went a step too far by demonstrating how the cattle prod could be used.

Nicholas_Reece PaulineHansonOz No, it’s advocacy of state violence against people exercising their democratic rights to allow corporations to make more profit out of the people. Right wing. Authoritarianism. It’s fascism 101.
