are hunting for a young man who forced an elderly man to drive him to an address before bashing him with a hammer.As the man in his 70s was driving, the attacker hit him over the head with a hammer, leading him to crash his Ford sedan into a parked car on Stuart Road.

Surveillance footage then showed the attacker repeatedly strike the victim with a hammer and kick him outside the car.The victim suffered minor head injuries and was taken to hospital.Police are now looking for the suspect, who is described as being Caucasian, in his early 20s, with a shaved head and dark beard.

He was wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt, black Adidas trackpants, white sneakers and a red bum-bag. Police are also looking for the victim's car, a white 2011 Ford XR sedan with the numberplate S581AKT.
