Hail showers have made for a frosty morning across Melbourne, marking the tail end of a wintry blast which will soon make way for warmer, sunnier weather.
A 15-metre tree smashed into the back deck of a Ringwood North home, and another tree fell onto the roof of a house in Menzies Creek.
