Resources Minister Keith Pitt says a Green-Labor alliance would end the coal sector.

“We’ll continue to support the sector, a Green-Labor alliance would end the sector, and I think that’s very clear,” Mr Pitt told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“That’s the risk for every voter out there, every resources worker, everybody that relies on the resources sector for their employment; can you trust an Albanese government? “Well, apparently, he’s had an epiphany; he’s had a complete change of heart from the position he’s held for more than two decades in the parliament.

The only alliance is the nationals and the liberals lies again

That’s bullshit. You need coal to make the steal required to build renewables. And because you need to replace renewables more often they’ll use more coal.

Still waiting for the formal coalition document to be signed between the ALP & the Greens as currently they have no such agreement. Unlike the long standing formal coalition agreement between the Liberals & the Nationals as this is the only way Liberals can govern (minority govt)

Australian democracy needs reform on donations to politicians & parties, reform on politicians expenses, enforceable codes of parliamentary conduct & political advertising & an effective Federal ICAC. Independents support & have promoted all these. The LNP support none.

Clearing the decks: Labor dumps plans to tax trustsLabor has jettisoned the last remaining controversial tax change it took to the 2019 election as it seeks to avoid a scare campaign 😂 “Jim Chalmers saying that he wants to be flexible around tax, he wants to have a budget after the election. The Australian people deserve to know what flexibility on tax for Labor means, not after the election, but before the election” Nah. Once elected, we’ll Tax & Spend… Tax the damned religions! It wasn’t going to work anyway, so there was no point keeping it. Back when they announced this in 2017, I explained why it wouldn’t work:
