Half a million Moderna doses were donated by the United States via Covax – the distributor backed by the World Health Organization and the Gavi vaccine alliance – and another 250,000 AstraZeneca shots from Denmark arrived in mid-July.

My youngest daughter was Dux of her school and achieved Band 6 in Ext1&2 math Phys and Chem. Apart from studying at the library everything else here rings true. It takes discipline and self motivation. And it helped that she was motivated to beat the boys in her strong cohort. :) What is the racial and socio-economic breakdown of the participants in this study? I would hazard a guess that all of these students had the resources and access to support in order to be high achievers/develop these strategies. Surprisingly, in these very advantaged boys, it comes down to innate talent, motivation and hard work! Who would have thought? It would be far more important to study how less advantaged and diverse children can best be assisted to replicate this success.
