‘No one left behind’: $30 million support package for struggling Victorians | Sky News AustraliaEmergency food relief, hardship payments and assistance for the coal industry all form part of a $30 million initiative to support Victorians struggling through the state’s fourth lockdown. \n\nUnder the scheme announced by the state government on Monday, $4.5 million will be allocated to providing emergency food relief to food distribution agencies, student supermarkets and cafes in regional and metropolitan areas. \n\nAdditionally, $12 million will be provided to coal communities, $5 million will be set aside for community organisations for food relief and a further $7 million will be used to “bolster communications, case management and service access” for struggling Victorians. \n\nMinister for Disability, Ageing and Carers Luke Donnellan said the support package will support the broader Victorian community during lockdown.\n\n“Today, we are announcing a $30 million package support to ensure that no one will be left behind to ensure people have access to food, emergency hardship payments and the like,” he said. \n\n“We are doing this work to ensure the whole community can be supported through this difficult period of time.”\n 30 million dollar softener before the extension announcement

Victoria’s 11 new COVID cases all linked to known outbreaks: Foley | Sky News AustraliaVictorian Health Minister Martin Foley says all 11 new coronavirus cases recorded in the state over the last 24 hours are linked to known outbreaks, with 94 active cases in the state. \n\n“There are 32 cases linked to the Whittlesea outbreak and that's three new cases today.
