All up, there are nine barges being loaded along the Brisbane River with more than eight tonnes of fireworks.at the same time firing from the river at Eagle Street Pier, Portside Wharf and Howard Smith Wharves and at the Regatta in Toowong

It is disgusting... they should cancel all fireworks this evening. People are getting killed, firefighters risk their lives and then some idiots will light fireworks ... no respect whatsoever.

God help us while the country burns and volunteers loose their lives saving us. What wankers organised this. Where is the media to take them to task.
