Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to implore Prince William to jump on a flight to Australia after Buckingham Palace confirmed the royal will not travel to Sydney to watch the Lionesses takes on Spain in the FIFA Women's World Cup final.

William has opted not to make the trip despite his work as an advocate for promoting and supporting women’s football.

According to The Telegraph, the Prince of Wales “is understood to have made the decision not to fly due to the distance involved for such a short trip." Morgan took to Twitter to question the Palace's decision and suggested William would have made the trip if it was the men's side playing in a World Cup final.
