The nurse turned comedian is here to spread cheer with the things that make her laugh online, including Joe Lycett, celebrities eating hot wings and her mum

Ladies, gentlemen, and all you glorious entities in betwixt: may I introduce you to British comedian Milo McCabe, also known as Troy Hawke of the Greeters Guild. Spoiler – there is no Greeters Guild, but that does not stop Troy from standing outside shops in a smoking jacket, cheering people on. I simply cannot go past him when he drops on my feed. He says he is trying to redress the mood balance in the general population in a post-pandemic era. There is no one more qualified to cheer you on .

The British shine brightest when they are losing. The best songs are made when a fan’s unequivocal belief that their team can win is coupled with despair when they do not. Simmer this sentiment in copious amounts of beer for a decade or more and you have the recipe for wonderfully funny crowd performances.Sketch at its most delicious. This troupe of bold and bonkers idiots are not big on facts unless they are about animals.

Joe Biden won’t be ‘bussing it in’ to the Queen’s funeralUS President Joe Biden will be taken to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in his “armour-plated presidential vehicle”, despite dignitaries being asked to take special buses to Westminster Abbey, says Sky News host Chris Kenny. “No bussing it in for the leader of the free world,” Mr Kenny said. He'd probably get on the wrong bus and end up in Hackney to be fair

‘Mental decline’: Internet roasts Joe Biden after he ‘got lost on stage’US President Joe Biden has been mocked online after appearing to become 'lost on stage' following a speech he delivered to reignite his Cancer Moonshot initiative. Mr Biden spoke at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston on Monday, local time. The speech comes on the 60th anniversary of former US president John F. Kennedy's famous 'moonshot' speech – where he outlined the aim to achieve the feat of putting a man on the moon. President Biden discussed his bold vision for another American moonshot – 'ending cancer as we know it'. The measure aims to cut the cancer death rate in half over the next 25 years and provide greater support to caregivers and survivors. Is something really news when it happens almost daily? He makes it look natural. I find it disgusting that people can mock someone who maybe has dementia. But having said that he should step down immediately to save any more embarrassment.

What Daniher’s baby dash says about modern footballers and their partners“I think there’s definitely a shift in how people are talking about it,' said Hester Brown, wife of Melbourne forward Ben, found herself in a similar situation to Joe Daniher’s partner Adelle Bougis when she was heavily pregnant. | marnievinall marnievinall Fully support his decision. And hope Joe recognises that Eric Hipwood stepped up to prove that he is first picked from now on. Green vest for Joe marnievinall Pity the VFL lions lost last week they could have used Joe in the Grand Final against the Sharks. Why would you change a winning combination? Team was pretty well balanced without him last week! Would his inclusion be decisive? (Do not use an AFL ARC system to decide decisive) marnievinall Love this, marnievinall. Hester & Ben are so wholesome & kind in everything they do.

Why aren't wages rising? There are now more job vacancies than unemployed peopleIf workers don't start seeing strong pay rises in these conditions, will they ever, asks Gareth Hutchens. Because most of our 'inflation' over the past decade has been driven by excises, vice taxes and the like. The underlying fundamentals of the economy havent really changed - the government's just been taking more and more from the taxpayer - and there isn't much left to give. Because so many of the jobs are in female dominated industries - low wages set under awards, and workers who will fill gaps rather than see clients suffer. The real question is why is anyone unemployed at the moment.. There is no excuse not to be working in this environment..!!
