From Yea to Corowa-Rutherglen, these footy teams have fought back from the brink extinction

The Roos received helped from across the community, including local firefighters who washed out their netball courts so they could play the 2023 season.The Roos also picked the brains of the Shepparton Swans, who had even worse floods in 2022 and played their 2023 season without clubrooms.It found a kitchen from the local saleyards, which will serve as their kitchen and clubrooms this year, and was purchased with the help of a local business.

"When you're under siege, you're introverted, and often a key constraint is that the burden is taken on by a small group of people.
