France excludes UK from Channel migrants crisis meeting after criticism from British Prime Minister

The French government has told UK Home Secretary Priti Patel she is no longer invited to a meeting over the Channel migration crisis after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson criticised Paris's handling of the situation.

The decision underlined the poor post-Brexit relations between the two countries and the difficulties they might face working together to curb the flow of migrants after 27 people drowned trying to reach British shores on Wednesday.
