Four more Australians have tested positive for coronavirus on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, taking the total number of infected Australians on board the vessel to 11.

Medical workers in protective suits lead a passenger tested positive for a new coronavirus from the cruise ship Diamond Princess at Yokohama.More than 3700 passengers, including 223 Australians, remain stranded on the ship, which has been docked off the coast of Yokohama for about a week since an elderly man tested positive.

Princess Cruises said the quarantine end date remained at February 19 unless there were unforeseen developments.
